My Reiki session is based on my experiences with Reiki and how I practice:
Our body consists of different sections that are connected to life force energy in various ways. There are seven main chakras that many people have seen depicted in posters or images. Simply put, certain body parts are associated with specific energies, and negative thoughts and feelings can become trapped in these areas if we do not express or address them. Whether we acknowledge it or not, these emotions persist. Energy healing can help us open these chakras and release stagnant or negative feelings into the universe, allowing us to better hear our inner voice.
For example, my physical pain manifests in my block side everytime. I have a chronic liver condition. Your liver is on your right but my pain is held under my heart chakra on my left side because it can not release and I held it there for years. I work daily to open this side to let the body relax and heal.
I use The Dream Book by Betty Bethards. This book was given to me by my high school boyfriend, and it has traveled with me for many years. The symbols for self-understanding within it have helped me define the meaning of my life and have also been beneficial in my Reiki practice. I believe that dreams are visions of our inner dimensions and can provide a safe way to explore personal growth in our lives.
If I see symbols in our healing session, I will refer to definition in this book because I have been using this book for decades to heal my energy through dreams, Reiki, meditation and yoga.
Like humans, animals and pets are attuned to their surroundings. We will have a connected call where I exchange energy with the animal just like with a human. The animal, however, is allowed to move and do whatever they want in the space. If they can stay in the room, that helps but I will need a visual of the pet in the beginning to share energy.
I meditate every day and it took me years to get at peace with this process. It is my relaxing state and helps me center my intentions daily. I use the Calm app. daily, and I have logged 365 days recently.
My favorite meditation to start with is Jeff Warren Mindfulness for Beginners 30 day program on Calm. Calming the brain each day helps our mental health. It is that simple.
Quantum physics includes a term known as quantum entanglement. This concept suggests that there are multiple dimensions and that we, as energy, can interact within these spaces. It is often depicted in films and explored in our thoughts about teleportation, time travel, and interdimensional relations. The fundamental idea is that we are energy capable of flowing between dimensions. Quantum physics and the theory of entanglement support the notion that frequency serves as a communication style for the universe, extending even beyond Earth.
I believe in the existence of frequencies and other dimensions. We are energy that places ourselves in experiences to learn. Reiki helps us reconnect with our purpose, allowing for personal growth within the larger context of existence. Like many concepts, I think we often debate the terminology but fundamentally trust that we exist for a greater purpose.
